Mark Simpkins

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to promoting high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students, and have worked tirelessly to ensure that educational institutions are providing the best possible education to their learners.

As nominee of a recent first full Ofsted inspection that was graded as outstanding, I have a deep understanding of what it takes to achieve excellence in education. I have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of what works when it comes to creating effective learning environments and supporting student success.

My experience in the field of education has been varied and extensive, and I have worked with a wide range of educational institutions, from colleges to training providers and adult education centers, across a number of sectors. I have a particular interest in vocational education and training (mainly apprenticeships), and I am passionate about helping students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.

In addition to my work in education, I am also committed to supporting the wider community, and I volunteer with a couple of local football clubs and manage their adult teams.
